About Radio Tarang 90.0 FM

Radio Tarang 90.0 F.M. was established on February 13, 2023 is a highly spirited community radio station. It was conceptualized and led by Professor Rakesh Kumar Gupta, the Principal of Ram Lal Anand College at the University of Delhi. Within a small duration of time, Radio Tarang has successfully entrenched itself as a leading community radio station being operated by any educational institution.

Currently headed by Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Radio Tarang is dedicated to addressing the community's informational, educational, and entertainment needs within a range of 10-15 kilometers of its frequency. Through its dynamic and engaging programming the Community radio station is committed to promote the social, cultural, linguistic, musical, and other diverse aspects of the community it serves, while offering a unique platform for local voices to be heard. The station broadcasts programs on a wide range of subjects ranging from academic discussions, current affairs to cultural events and community initiatives.The Radio Station also provides a distinctive forum for regional perspectives in its programs while fulfilling its objective of empowering citizens and achieving sustainable development goals.
