The film society of Ram Lal Anand College began its journey in the year 2016 with the main objective of organising film screenings related to social issues, moral values and ethics. We focus on enabling a healthy debate on the various social questions, and vis-a-vis movies-an audio-visual medium-we realise that a larger section of the student community can be reached and critical analysis can be effectively ensued.
PARDA, the Film Society has been successfully screening movies like Kissa Kursi Ka, Mirchi, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Garam Hawa among others. The society has also organised workshops.Over the past two years, PARDA held a film competition which has attracted students from all department to enhance their skills.
This year PARDA, the Film Society of Ram Lal Anand College aims to successfully continue with what has been the traditional approach of the society alongside inculcating new ideas to introduce new methodologies via which the society can broaden its perspective.
